Spre deosebire de multe alte media convertoare disponibile pe piata, are carcasa rezistenta la apa, prevazuta cu surub pentru blocare, iar bratul de montare poate fi atasat si blocat cu un surub din interiorul carcasei. Unitatea asigura 12-57V PoE cu 802.3af/at (cu cablu neecranat). Vine cu injector PoE si sursa de alimentare. Functioneaza doar cu conexiuni Gigabit SFP.
