Wall channels

Wall channels are widely used in the organization and protection of all types of surface installations and the construction of industrial cable routes. Cable support systems are responsible for the safety and proper protection of all types of cabling. The most popular types of cable covers and structures are perforated steel gutters, wire channels for all types of cable routes and strips for hiding, securing and distributing cables. They are used in technical rooms, sports halls, office buildings, workshops as well as warehouses and electrical switchboards.

PVC wall channels

Wall channels enable precise and safe laying of electrical cables in all types of electrical installation systems. They are also often cable shields for data transmission and multimedia signals. Due to their construction, the most common are 1-chamber wall channels with different sections. Most of their types have covers in the form of a snap strip on the side walls of the channel. In the installation industry, semicircular floor ducts are also popular for hiding all kinds of external wiring in public spaces. 1-chamber wall-mounted ducts with a rectangular cross-section are used in floor, windowsill, office installations as well as in production and storage rooms. At the time of designing and arranging the installation, the appropriate size of the profiles should be selected so that the constructed supporting systems can accommodate the planned cabling and are sufficiently capacious if additional cabling is needed.

In the event of extension or the need to reconfigure the route of cable routes, they can be dismantled and reused elsewhere. Wall channels are made of relatively flexible and resistant to temperature and damage PVC or plastic. Some types of channels are flexible elements (comb trays) and enable the creation of arcs or any adaptation to the course of the surfaces in which they are installed. 1-chamber wall channels can be additionally equipped with longitudinal barriers that separate individual sectors inside them. These are partitions that come in fixed or removable variants. They enable better organization and separation of different types of cabling, e.g. power and signal.

Connecting fittings and accessories

The basic plastic duct element is usually two meters long. It can be cut anywhere depending on your location requirements. Increasing the flexibility and functionality of the wall channels is achieved through various types of internal and external connection elbows, plugs and branches. The power is distributed to individual points and the installation is controlled by means of a series of sockets and connectors installed in dedicated installation boxes. Wall-mounted two and three-chamber channels with expansion clamps and installation columns enable precise configuration of individual sectors of the cabling installation.

Metal cable support systems

Metal wall ducts most often function as 1-chamber cable support systems. In various forms, they are the basis for the distribution of often hundreds of various wires and cables on large storage areas and in technical and production facilities. They are used both indoors and outdoors in demanding environmental conditions.

Support systems are based on horizontal elements and sections of vertical cable trays. Any cable line can be built with the help of various connectors, supports and supports. Metal perforated and wire trays can be mounted on the walls and hung from the ceilings of any room. Holes located on the entire surface of the trays allow you to fix the cables in any position. Accessory equipment enables crossover and multi-level wiring installation. Metal support systems installed in accordance with the technical specification prevent breakage and damage to the wiring even at long-term high temperatures, in the event of a fire in the room. It is necessary to keep the recommended distance between the support points along the entire length of the cable track. Protective coatings in the form of zinc, epoxy paint or plastics protect against corrosion all components of the supporting systems for cables. In more demanding places, stainless or acid steel is used.
