The Fronius Ohmpilot is a consumption controller that transfers the excess amount of photovoltaic energy to heat water.Thanks to the smooth adjustment in the range od 0 do 9 kW surplus photovoltaic electricity can be efficiently used and sent to receivers in the household.Fronius Ohmpilot is primarily used for intelligent control of heaters in hot water boilers and buffer tanks.Other areas of application are, for example, infrared heaters or towel dryers.In a single-family house with average hot water consumption in the period from April to October, it is possible to cover the majority of the demand with electricity from the photovoltaic installation.The result: maximum self-consumption, lower emissions CO2 by the household and saving its own heating system during the summer months.
