Key proposals include reducing landscape impacts, protecting biodiversity, and fostering rural development. The project aims to create a shared vision for renewable energy deployment by 2030 and 2050.
Iberdrola Secures €500 Million Loan for Smart Grid Expansion
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Iberdrola have signed a €500 million loan agreement to develop and expand smart electrical grids in Spain, facilitating the integration of renewable energy sources and industrial connections. The project, funded through the Autonomous Resilience Fund (ARF) under the Next Generation EU program, aims to strengthen the electrical distribution network, accelerate the energy transition, and promote economic growth and employment in Spain.
