FENIE, the National Federation of Electrical, Telecommunications, and HVAC Companies of Spain, concludes a successful year with its Aula FENIE platform, reaffirming its commitment to updating and professionalizing the installation sector. Throughout the year, Aula FENIE offered nearly 70 informative and specialized webinars, with over 8,000 professionals participating. These webinars, organized in collaboration with manufacturers, distributors, and other value chain partners, covered key topics such as innovative solutions, energy management, electric vehicle charging, heat pumps, preventive maintenance, lighting calculation, and the use of digital tools. With a varied and demand-driven offering, Aula FENIE positions itself as a reference platform in the sector, driving the updating of installers.
Junkers Bosch Kicks Off the Year by Recognizing Professionals Who Trust Their Equipment
Junkers Bosch welcomes the new year with a campaign for professionals who trust the brand. The initiative aims to reward those who install Bosch boilers and heat pumps, offering up to 300€ for club members. Professionals can enjoy a wide range of models and efficient solutions, with easy installation and high energy efficiency. To participate, installers must be registered with the Club Junkers Bosch Plus and verify installations via the official technical service or the Junkers Bosch plus app. Equipment can be financed through Bosch EasyFinance, providing comfort and security in payments.
Union Solar Plant Begins Operation and Power Supply in Ohio
ACCIONA Energía's Union Solar plant in Ohio (325MWp) has started commercial operations, marking the official start of energy injection into Ohio's electrical grid. The project, located in Marysville, features 760,000 photovoltaic modules spread over 5.7 square kilometers, enough to power nearly 62,000 homes. With a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Amazon, the plant has significantly impacted local communities, creating over 370 jobs during peak construction and maintaining 20 permanent jobs. A portion of the annual revenue will be reinvested locally through ACCIONA Energía's Social Impact Management program. The company has been operating in North America for two decades, with a current installed capacity of 3GW of renewable energy, set to exceed 3.3GW upon completion of the Forty Mile wind project in Alberta.
