LMI Technologies is a supplier of 3D solutions for visualization, measurement and quality control.The flagship product of LMI - Gocator scanners are integrated measurement and quality control systems working in 3D technology.They are characterized by a compact design that hides built-in measurement tools, calibration to measurement units and built-in communication interfaces.
The Scanway offer includes the following LMI products:
- Scanners with a point sensor (triangulation length measurement) - they perform a single-point laser measurement enabling very fast measurements up to 32kHz with built-in analysis.Ideally suited for non-contact testing of surface thickness, height and roughness.Standardized interface with built-in measurement algorithms enables quick and easy integration with automated and robotic systems.
- Profile scanners (triangulation profile measurement) - this type of Gocator devices is based on laser line triangulation technology, creating a two-dimensional profile of the surface of objects.In the scanning process, a high-resolution laser inspects linearly moving elements.Additionally, with the use of profile data, the system allows the creation of a 3D point cloud representing the entire scanning surface.The same scanner makes it possible to generate a 2D image in the intensity scale.In the case of these sensors, it is possible to create a MULTI SENSOR system - i.e. composed of several profile scanners.
- Surface scanners (stereovision surface measurement) - Gocator allows you to create a 3D point cloud based on stereometric technology and fringe projection.Together with measuring tools, it enables geometric measurements and quality control of the scanned element.This solution is ideal for non-contact 3D measurements while the object is stationary.
