Ring terminals are designed for crimping on multi-wire cables (so-called stranded wires). They are used to connect wires with subsequent installation elements (e.g. with a screw).The use of ring terminals ensures greater resistance of the connection to vibrations mechanical and a reduced possibility of short circuits.Terminating a multi-wire cable with a ring terminal (using a so-called press) enables its installation, for example, on a battery.
