Fronius Ohmpilot is a receiver controller designed to use excess solar energy to heat water.Thanks to the smoothly adjustable power from 0 to 9 kW, excess PV energy can be used for highly efficient use and powering household receivers.

Ohmpilot is primarily used for intelligent control of heating elements to supply hot water in boilers and buffer tanks, but can also be used for infrared heaters or towel heaters in bathrooms.Solar energy can therefore provide a family home with average water consumption with most of its hot water needs between April and October.The result is a maximum level of self-sufficiency, reduced CO2 emissions in the household and no need to run the building's main hot water supply system during the summer months.
