MW POWER batteries from the MWC series are manufactured using lead-carbon technology.LEAD–CARBON technology involves replacing the active material of the negative plate with a lead-carbon composite, which prevents sulphation of the battery in a partially discharged state and increases its charge acceptance efficiency.The batteries have a lower charging voltage and therefore higher efficiency and less corrosion of the positive plate.The use of additionally thickened lead plates combined with the innovative LEAD-CARBON technology allows for a service life unattainable for other maintenance-free lead-acid batteries.
