Ordinary polyurethane foam is characterized by excellent expansion, and after hardening it has very good insulating properties. Perfectly adheres to most building materials and substrates. Curing occurs by absorbing moisture from the air. In dry conditions and in low temperatures, when the air humidity is low, the joint should be supplied with moisture after application. Cured foam is not resistant to UV radiation - it requires protection against radiation. Polyurethane foam is intended for sealing and filling cracks, gaps and pipe penetrations in building partitions. It can be used to fill gaps in wall and ceiling joints and to soundproof partition walls in skeletal structures. Thanks to very good adhesion to most substrates and excellent insulating properties, it is widely used in thermal insulation works. It is used to fill gaps and gaps in the external wall insulation layer, filling voids and air gaps. After curing, together with the polystyrene layer, it constitutes a homogeneous base for the application of the adhesive layer with reinforcing mesh.
