The new SK10G cam switch is a continuation of the SK switch family with new functional features.It is used to switch on and off currents up to 20A.The classic segment construction of these switches with two cams within each of them enables the creation of any switching programs as a function of the position of the knob.By using the selected number of rack teeth in the drive mechanism, the knob pitch angles of 30 °, 45 °, 90 ° and 60 ° (not used so far in our switches) can be obtained, which at 30 ° gives a maximum of 12 positions of the knob.Due to the unusual design of some components of the connector, a new functional feature has been obtained, which distinguishes this connector from other products of this type on the market.It consists in the angular (40 °) location of the screws securing the connection wires in relation to the connector axis.This solution enables the assembly and disassembly of connection cables to the connector terminals when the connector is already installed in a given device or switchgear cabinet.This is essential in the case of control cabinets, where there is an accumulation of a greater number of control connectors with different functions, and the small distance between individual connectors prevents unscrewing or tightening the connection cables.In addition, small dimensions as well as the IP20 degree of protection increase the area of application of the product and contribute to increasing their competitiveness.The use of high-quality, recyclable thermoplastics in the production narrows down the field of changes in the physical and mechanical properties of these parts as a result of extreme operating conditions, such as temperature or air humidity.These switches can be installed in closed rooms (pollution degree 3 - industrial use).
