BaseBox monitoruje i transmituje dane pomiarowe z TopBox umieszczonego na dachu w regularnych odstępach czasu (co 10 minut) są przesyłane do chmury za pośrednictwem domowego łącza internetowego. Kontroluje również zasilanie TopBox i wyłącza je w przypadku awarii aby zapewnić płynną pracę, do montażu K2 Buddy w połączeniu z systemem Dome 6 potrzebne są także następujące zestawy:
