General note: TORX PLUS® tools have advantages over TORX® tools due to to the transmitted torque thanks to significantly larger contact surfaces in the screw head.
The TORX® and TORX PLUS® systems are only compatible one-way: with the conventional TORX® tool, you can also tighten and release screws with TORX PLUS® seat (to a limited extent).However, the TORX PLUS® tool cannot be used with the TORX® profile.
