About Us
Popper Power is an EV charging Austrian company established in 2008 and dedicated to building a better future where clean and affordable energy is available to all. We believe that consumers are ready to shift to clean energy, and with the right environment in place, the growth of electric vehicles will exceed all our expectations.
In 2008, we identified a major barrier to the wider adoption of electric vehicles (EVs): the lack of accessible and affordable charging infrastructure for urban residents. With more people opting to rent homes rather than own them, many were reluctant to invest in EV charging solutions for their temporary residences.
Recognizing the urgent need for change, we set out to provide a solution that would encourage more people to switch to EVs. We knew that governments and cities had a role to play in establishing a network of public and low-cost charging stations to further popularize EV usage. However, progress was slow.
That's why we took it upon ourselves to develop accessible and affordable charging solutions for EV owners. By doing so, we hope to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
