T-handle screwdrivers are one of the types of these tools that use a handle with a shape similar to the letter "T". This handle makes it easy to apply higher torque by hand.
T-handle and steel blade with a specially shaped tip that corresponds to the screw or bolt drive being used. T-handles are made of plastic. They are either 1- or 2-component. A separate group of T-handle screwdrivers are folding screwdrivers or so-called combination screwdrivers with replaceable blades. Some versions of T-handle combination screwdrivers have a 2-way ratchet mechanism, which makes screwing in hard-to-reach places easier.
A distinction is made between T-handle screwdrivers with Torx, HEX internal and HEX external blades depending on the type of fastener drive.
The main technical characteristics of T-handle screwdrivers are: overall length, blade length, handle length, bit type and size, total weight.
These tools are used for the assembly and disassembly of threaded fasteners: screws and bolts. These screwdrivers are therefore mainly used in mechanical work, mainly in the automobile and machine industry and in machine and vehicle maintenance. They are manufactured by Bahco, Felo, Gedore, Hazet, Stanley, Wera, Wiha and many others.
