Power supplies for construction tools are a very important part of many projects where there is no access to the usual electrical network, and it is certainly not good to underestimate their choice. Whether you are supplying special drills, mixers, grinders or circular saws on site, you must always have a sufficiently dimensioned power supply. You can find out what power supply values you need for the selected power tools from their manual and be sure to check these values before purchasing or using any power supply. We do not recommend using unsuitable sources, as some can damage the tool.
When choosing power supplies, pay particular attention to their input and output voltage, output and input current, and the length of the supply cable will also be important. It is also important to pay attention to the type of connector to ensure that your tool is compatible with the power supply.
You may also be interested in large resources for working on construction sites, to which you can connect large construction tools and stands (for example, a powerful mixer). These sources are often offered in mobile variants with wheels, so that you can handle them more easily. Large power supplies are commonly powered by engines that require gasoline to run. In the menu you can also find specialized generators, which are suitable for various specialized tasks. For example, generators with a welder with a high generator power.
As with smaller sources, you need to look at important voltage or current values.
Always keep maximum safety in mind when connecting or otherwise handling the power supply. For example, do not place the sources on damp ground (unless they are designed for this purpose) and we definitely do not recommend using them in heavy rain unless you have adequately protected them.
If you have never worked with power supplies for construction equipment before, be sure to either read their manual carefully or immediately invite an experienced expert to build it, who will help you with the connection and operation.
Some sources can also be useful as backup power sources in the event of an accidental power outage on the construction site. Even in this case, you have to count well, because the power supplies can only power a certain number of devices. You can find out exactly how much this will be based on the maximum power of the generator and the general requirements of the electrical equipment that you want to supply with the backup generator in the event of a failure.
You can also choose larger power plants based on the total volume of their tank, such as petrol. Depending on power consumption, you can find out how long the power supply can work and power the device you connect to it. The noise of the switched-on source can also play a role in the selection. You will solve this parameter mainly in populated areas.
