Files are sold individually or in specially assembled sets containing several types of files. These kits usually contain from 3 to 12 tools. These file sets come in cardboard, steel or plastic packaging.
Files are assembled into sets according to their purpose and type. Thus, we have specialty sets with a narrow range of applications, e.g. intended for sharpening cutting chains, and sets with a wider range of applications, having a more universal character and addressed to many groups of potential customers. There are also sets designed for specific groups of customers, e.g. carpenters, joiners, car body workers or precision mechanics. A separate group of sets is formed by sets of homogeneous types of technical files, needle files or riffle files.
Many different types of files are needed in order to efficiently file different shapes and sizes of workpieces. This is why buying them as a set is more economical than buying a single file.
