Electronic torque wrenches are precision tools for measuring the tightening torque of bolts and their accurate screwing. They are used in industry, energy and mechanical services: vehicles, machinery, etc., as well as companies involved in the repair of power grids.
Electronic torque wrenches are technically advanced measuring devices with many practical functions, e.g. torque control, selection of measurement units (Nm, lb.ft, lb.in), memory for measurements, USB port for computer connection etc. A sound signal or vibration in the handle indicates when the preset torque has been reached. They use replaceable ratchets and various fixed bits for direct contact with the screw heads.
The technical parameters that characterize electronic torque wrenches are: torque range or force torque (Nm), accuracy (%), square driver size or type, overall length (mm), overall weight (g).
Electronic torque wrenches are used for responsible screw assembly. They are therefore used in factories assembling vehicles, aircraft, machinery, various types of equipment (e.g. white goods) and in the power industry, as well as in various types of mechanical (automotive, aircraft, machinery, railway, etc.) and energy services, and in factory departments or maintenance companies. They are manufactured by Bahco, Facom, Gedore, Hazet and many others.
