Nowy Sunny Home Manager 2.0 (HM-20) zawiera zintegrowane urządzenie pomiarowe, dzięki czemu w przypadku standardowych aplikacji z pomiarem mocy w punkcie podłączenia sieci nie jest już potrzebny osobny licznik SMA Energy Meter. Licznik SMA Energy Meter jest naturalnie nadal dostępny jako osobna jednostka pomiarowa do mierzenia wielkości produkcji prądu solarnego. Do jednego Sunny Home Manager można podłączyć maksymalnie 24 urządzenia. Przy czym liczba sterowanych komponentów (gniazdka radiowe, pompa ciepła lub Wallbox Mennekes) nie może być większa niż 12 sztuk.
